For a code-free setup, follow the steps below.
Install Yari Flow
1. Open Yari Flow in the Shopify App Store and click Install.

Set up products for subscriptions
Before adding the Plan Picker to your product pages, configure the products that customers can purchase as subscriptions.

6. Click Save in the upper-right corner.
You can edit a Selling Plan Group at any time by selecting its name from the Selling Plans page.
Understanding Selling Plans
Shopify uses Selling Plans to define how a product can be purchased.
For example, a Selling Plan could allow a product to be billed and delivered every month with a 15% subscription discount.
A common Selling Plan type is the Subscribe and Save.
Subscribe and Save, also known as pay per delivery, allows a customer to pay each time a recurring order is processed.
For example, the customer may be billed once every four weeks for each delivery.
Add the Yari Flow Plan Picker to product pages
After Yari Flow is installed, the Yari Flow app block becomes available in the Shopify theme editor.
The app block allows you to add the Yari Flow Plan Picker to product templates that use a compatible add-to-cart form.
Add the app block
1. In the Shopify admin sidebar, go to: Sales channels > Online Store
2. Find the theme you want to update and click Customise.
3. Open the page selector at the top of the theme editor.
4. Select Products, then choose the relevant product template. This will usually be the Default product template, although your store may use a different template for subscription products.
5. In the Product information section, click Add block. The section name may differ depending on your theme.
6. Select Apps.
7. Choose Purchase Options - Yari Flow.
8. Drag the block to the preferred position on the product page.
The Plan Picker is usually placed after the variant selector and before the quantity selector or Add to cart button.
Customise the Yari Flow Plan Picker
The Purchase options - Yari Flow app block includes settings for controlling the Plan Picker’s appearance and behaviour.
The settings allow you to customise the Plan Picker’s copy, pricing presentation, and behaviour.
For example, use:
· One Time Purchase Label to change the one-time purchase label
· Subscription Label to change the subscription label
· Frequency Selector to change the type of selector of the Subscription
· Frequency Label to change the frequency label
· Pricing Display to change how the subscription price appears
· Styles to change visuals of the overall block
Each setting includes a description explaining what it controls.
Test the Yari Flow Plan Picker
The Plan Picker must pass the selected Selling Plan ID to Shopify when a customer adds a subscription product to their cart.
This is what tells Shopify that the product is a subscription purchase rather than a one-time purchase.
To test the setup:
1. Open the product page where you added the Yari Flow app block.
2. Select the subscription purchase option.
3. Add the product to the cart.
4. Continue to Shopify Checkout.
5. Confirm that the Selling Plan label appears beside the product. For example: Every 4 weeks If the correct label appears, the Plan Picker is passing the selected Selling Plan to Shopify successfully.
After the subscription order is placed:
· The subscription will appear in the Yari Flow Dashboard at https://dashboard.yariflow.com
· The customer will be able to manage it through the Yari Flow My Account
The My Account is available at: https://YOUR_PRIMARY_DOMAIN.COM/a/account/login
Next steps
Once the Plan Picker is working correctly, your store is ready to begin selling Yari Flow subscriptions.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ) & troubleshooting
Why is the Yari Flow app block not appearing on my product page?
Confirm that the product has an active Selling Plan Group attached to it.
You can review your Selling Plan Groups at: https://dashboard.yariflow.com/selling_plan_groups
You should also confirm that the product uses the same product template where the Yari Flow app block was added.
For example, the app block may have been added to the Default product template while the product uses a different custom template.
Why do I see a “Cannot apply selling plan to variant” error after changing variants?
This usually means that the Yari Flow Plan Picker is not receiving the updated variant information from the product form.
If the issue continues, contact help@yariflow.com
I currently use another subscription platform. How do I make sure customers only see Yari Flow plans?
You may need to remove any widgets, app blocks, or theme code associated with the previous subscription platform.
This prevents customers from continuing to purchase selling plans created by the previous provider.
Depending on how your current integration was built, you may need to:
· Remove the previous app’s block from the Shopify theme editor
· Ask a developer to remove platform-specific theme code
· Disable or delete the previous platform’s Selling Plan Groups
Important Do not uninstall your current subscription app before confirming that your existing subscriptions no longer need to be migrated.
After an app has been removed, its subscription data may no longer be available for migration.
If you are moving existing subscribers to Yari Flow, contact help@yariflow.com as soon as the Yari Flow storefront experience is live.
