Products tool
The Products area allows you to review product information from your Shopify catalogue within the Yari Flow Dashboard.
Yari Flow displays product details such as inventory, variants, collections and associated Plan Groups. Most product information is managed in Shopify rather than directly in Yari Flow.
What can I do from the Products area?
From the Products area, you can:
· Search and filter products
· Review product inventory and variant counts
· View product descriptions, images, tags and status
· Review variant information
· See which Shopify collections contain the product
· See which Yari Flow Plan Groups are associated with the product
· Open the product in Shopify to make changes
· Access the product’s upsell settings
How do I open the Products page?
1. In the left-hand menu of the Yari Flow Dashboard, go to: Products > Products.
2. Use the product list to find the item you want to review.
3. Select the product title to open its detail page.
Find and filter products
The Products page displays the products available from your Shopify catalogue.
You can use:
· Search Products: Find a specific product.
· Select a Product Type: Filter products by their Shopify product type.
· State: Filter products by their current status.
· Clear: Remove the selected filters.
Understand the product list
Each row represents one Shopify product. The table includes:
· Image: The product image from Shopify.
· Title: The product name.
· Product type: The product type assigned in Shopify.
· Inventory: The total inventory shown for the product.
· Variants: The number of product variants.
· State: The current product status, such as Active.
The Inventory and Variants columns can be sorted using the arrows beside the column headings.
Review a product
Select a product to open its detail page.
The page provides an overview of the product and the Shopify information currently available in Yari Flow.
Product overview
The Product overview section displays the product description from Shopify.
Select Open in Shopify to open the product in Shopify Admin.
Product information
The Product info section may display:
· Product name
· Product image
· Product state
· Product type
· Inventory
· Product tags
Update Product
This information is managed through Shopify.
1. Select Edit in the upper-right corner of the page, or select Open in Shopify.
2. Make the required changes in Shopify.
3. Save the product in Shopify.
4. Return to Yari Flow and confirm that the updated information appears.
You may need to refresh the Yari Flow page before the latest information is displayed.
Review product variants
The Variants section shows the Shopify variants associated with the product.
Depending on the product, the table may include:
· ID: The Shopify variant ID.
· Title: The variant title.
· SKU: The variant’s SKU.
· Price: The current Shopify price.
· Inventory: The available inventory.
· Sell without stock: Whether the variant can continue to be sold when no inventory is available.
To change a variant’s title, SKU, price, inventory or inventory policy, open the product in Shopify.
Review collections
The Collections section shows the Shopify collections associated with the product.
Select a collection name to open its details in Yari Flow, where supported.
Product collection assignments are managed in Shopify.

Review associated Plan Groups
The Plan Groups section shows the Yari Flow Plan Groups currently associated with the product.
Select a Plan Group name to open and review its configuration.
Plan Groups define the subscription options available for products, including billing and delivery frequency and any applicable subscription discount.
To change a product’s subscription options, review the relevant Plan Group and its Shopify Purchase options.
Which product details should I manage in Shopify?
Use Shopify to manage core catalogue information, including:
· Product title and description
· Images and media
· Product status
· Product type
· Tags
· Collections
· Variants
· SKUs
· Prices
· Inventory
· Out-of-stock selling behaviour
Use Yari Flow to review how the product is connected to subscription features such as:
· Plan Groups
· Upsells
· Existing subscriptions
Frequently asked questions
Can I edit a product directly in Yari Flow?
Core product information is managed in Shopify.
Select Edit or Open in Shopify from the product detail page to make changes.
Where do I create a new product?
Create new products and variants in Shopify Admin.
Once available to Yari Flow, they will appear under Products > Products.
Where do I assign a product to a subscription plan?
Products are connected to Plan Groups through Shopify Purchase options.
To assign a Plan Group:
1. Open the product in Shopify.
2. Scroll to Purchase options.
3. Select the relevant Selling Plan Group.
4. Save the product.
5. Return to Yari Flow and confirm that the Plan Group appears on the product detail page.
Why is product information different from Shopify?
The information in Yari Flow may not yet reflect a recent Shopify change.
Refresh the page and check the product again.
Can I change inventory from Yari Flow?
No. Product and variant inventory should be managed in Shopify.
What is the difference between Products, Collections and Upsells?
· Products: Review individual Shopify products and their connection to Yari Flow.
· Collections: Review Shopify product groupings.
· Upsells: Configure additional products that may be offered through the subscription experience.
