Before you start

Your store must meet Apple’s eligibility requirements before Apple Pay can be enabled.

Confirm that your store:

· Uses Shopify Payments as its payment processor

· Has SSL enabled on its store domain

· Complies with Apple’s Acceptable Use Guidelines

· Operates from the United States, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand

How to enable Apple Pay in Shopify

Step 1: Open the payment settings

In your Shopify admin, go to: Settings > Payments

Step 2: Enable Apple Pay

1. Find your credit card payment provider and click Manage.

2. Scroll to the Wallets section.

3. Select Apple Pay.

4. Click Save.

Once Apple Pay is enabled, eligible customers can use it to complete checkout and pay for subscription orders.

Supported payment methods

For subscription purchases made through Apple Pay, customers can use:

· Mastercard

· Visa

The following card types are not supported for subscription payments through Apple Pay:

· American Express

· Discover

· Diners Club

Customers who want to use an unsupported card type must enter their card details directly at checkout instead of selecting Apple Pay.
